Alpha-1 is a testing release of the Ashes of Creation MMORPG.[5] Alpha-1 will test:
- Hybrid action/tab combat.[6]
- Progression to level 20.[6]
- 4 playable races.[6]
- Character creator.[6]
- 8 base archetypes.[6]
- Portions of player housing.[6]
- Portions of crafting/artisan classes.[6]
- Nodes will be fully featured.[8]
- Node progression to Village (Stage 3).[8]
- This was previously stated to be Town (Stage 4).[6]
- 120 km2 of world map.[6]
- This is 25% of the total world space.[8]
- Questing.[6]
- Social organizations.[6]
- Guilds.[6]
- Name reservations.[6]
- Corruption.[9]
- Merchant systems.[10]
- Player trading.[10]
- Daggers (Dual weapons).[11]
- Two to three servers.[8]
- 1,500 concurrent server population.[12]
It is possible that Alpha-1 is released prior to Ashes of Creation Apocalypse horde mode.[13]
