Hunting is a gathering profession in Ashes of Creation.[2][3][4]
- Taming is a sub-task of hunting.[5][6]
- Animals can be found in herds across the lands of Verra that represent a gatherable resource.[4]
- Genetic lines react to the type of mount or creature that has been captured or tamed.[7]
- Combat proficiency may be required in order to tame wild beasts.[8]
- Geographical location may be relevant for the creation of certain types of breeds.[3]
