Gliding mounts are tier 2[2] winged mounts that jump/glide/hover close to the ground.[3] Unlike royal (tier 3) mounts, gliding mounts are not capable of true flight by default.[4]
- The higher the level of the mount, the further it can glide.[5]
- Gliding mounts gain the ability to fly for mayors of Metropolis (stage 6) nodes or Kings and Queens of guild castles.[5]
- Certain tier 2 mount skins can be upgraded to tier 3 skins if they also apply to royal mounts.[2]
- Gliding will require some level of player skill in relation to gauging the speed and distance needed to successfully glide to the desired location.[6]
