Smite

Cleric Smite ability.

You can use it in two different ways, as is a running theme with a lot of our abilities. But, you can use it from a range and it'll have a cast time and just do damage to the target; and if you use it in melee it's an instant. So again, one of those things that you get a little more benefit for if you're up front. – Tradd Thompson

Alpha-2 Cleric skill:

• Instant cast: Yes.
• Targeted skill: Yes.
• Mana: 25.
• Cooldown: 8s.
• Range: 40m.

Base skill

Smite your target, dealing instant damage and applying a stack of Burning to target enemy. Has no cast time and deals increased damage if activated within melee range of the target. This attack always critically hits on targets under the effect of Condemn.
