Metalworking stations (also referred to as Smelters, Kilns, and Furnaces) are a type of workstation used by the processing artisan class.[2][1][3][4]

  • These may require fuel, such as lumber, to reach the required temperature for processing a certain grade of raw material, such as ore.[3]
  • These may require monitoring to ensure they do not overheat.[3]

Metalworking

Metalworking (previously referred to as Smelting) is a processing profession in Ashes of Creation.[5][6][7]

Let's say I take that iron or that Mithril and I go create with my freehold - I put it into my smelter and I create these ingots, which are then able to be used alongside recipes for crafting certain things.[7]Steven Sharif
