Monster coins enable players to play as monsters within the event system. This ranges from playing friends as a horde of zombies, to becoming a massive dragon.[1]
Monster coin events
Monster coin events are system spawned events. They are structured in a way to prevent groups from gaming the system.[2] There are tiers of events denoting the caliber of the monsters being spawned.[1]
Use of monster coins
- Monster coins are only usable during monster coin events.[3]
- Two different monster coins can not be used on the same monster player during the same event.[5]
- Some events have monsters that can be taken over by multiple players.[5]
- If no players participate in a monster event, the monsters will be run by AI.[6]
- Citizens of the Node being attacked by the monster may not participate in the monster coin event.[7]
Obtaining monster coins
Monster coins are obtainable from:
- Rare drops in-game.[8]
- Purchasable from the cosmetic store.[8]
Impact of monster events
