- You'll see that Mages will probably prefer to use this spell in different ways based on how you're speccing the Mage. So, if you are a more ranged-based classic Mage, you'll most likely use this to create space to put between you and your opponent; but a more melee-based Mage might actually want to use this to get on their opponent.[1] – Tradd Thompson
