Royal stables are a type of building present in castles and that can be elected to be built within nodes.[1]

The royal mounts will be the only class of mounts that can fully fly in the world; and they are will be needed to be mounted while in a royal stables. Royal stables are a building that can be built in a node if elected to be built by the mayor and supported by the community building it up through the quests to do so; and castles come with a royal stable as well. So once you have a royal stable and you become that Mayor or King or Queen, you may then mount the creature there and then take it wherever you wish. Will there be a flight timer associated with it? There will be a flight time associate with it, but the flight time will be considerable. We're thinking probably between 20 and 30 minutes. So will that limit the range of effectiveness? Yes it will limit the range of effectiveness for that particular mount. But it will be an epic looking large-scale creature and people will notice you and it while you are approaching.[1]Steven Sharif

Node buildings

Node governments decide the location and types of node buildings to be constructed within sectors of a node.[6][7][1]

When the building types are determined, the community will then need to bring resources into the node (using caravans) and come together to construct the buildings (via quests and the like).[6]

The government decides how to specialize their node. Once they choose certain things they won't be able to choose other things.[6]

Different governments may change the buildings within a node.[6]

And there could be regime change... If somebody doesn't like the fact that a market was built and they want to re-elect a new government next cycle, they can do so... and that market could be destroyed and a new building take its place.[6]

Pre-defined parameters limit the number of buildings at in-node locations.[7]
